Ness Wadia, who has been accused of molestation by former girlfriend and Bollywood actress Preity Zinta, has so far maintained silence on the issue. Except for issuing a statement saying that all the allegations labelled against him are false, Ness hasn't said much so far.

IPL match between Kings XI Punjab match against Chennai Super Kings on May 30, which also coincided with the industrialist's birthday , at Garware Pavilion, Wankhede stadium in Mumbai.
“Ness had invited guests on his birthday (including his mother Maureen) and had booked some seats for the same at the pavilion. When he reached there, all the seats were occupied by Preity's friends and family members. His mother had to stand and wait for a seat for 20 minutes. When Ness went and asked Preity about it that is when the argument began,“ says the source.

Preity in her complaint mentioned that he pulled her hand, but pulling someone's hand doesn't amount to molestation, even if we have to completely believe in what she said. There was no question of outraging anyone's modesty . People have been questioning her intent on the contrary . If she has the intent to complain and fight, then she should not have left the city (Mumbai) for the US.
She has sent a letter and that is how the FIR has been registered. If someone is serious to register a complaint, then one has to make the time to go and record the statement in the police station. In the CCTV footages, there is no evidence to suggest that there was any kind of physical violence or molestation bid against Preity by Ness.“
The source expressed confidence that the case would be squashed because of lack of evidence.
“The CCTV footages don't corroborate with her statement. It remains to be seen what kind of action the cops will take. In such cases, the Supreme Court has already said that if such charges are false then the FIR can be squashed,“ he says.
The source hinted that Ness's new-found love (apparently a model-actress) is the reason behind Preity's anger against her former lover.
